NOT ALLOWING YOUR WAIST TO WASTE

Trending is the general direction in which something moves, and the women in China today, it appears are turning anorexic and trending towards sickness. They may call it the beauty craze but scientifically I'm sure, it can be rather labeled as a disorder. Perhaps they fail to understand that fashion is after all only a ‘look of the moment’ and instead submit to the follies of trends, with the least of resistance.
The body image issues have taken the front seat in the drama of life today and I wouldn’t be wrong in saying that they affect everybody. The fashion industry portrays the privileges of being thin without any moral responsibility towards the general public and many a times it subtly encourages fat hate too.
'Anorexia Nervosa' is when healthy people get obsessed with their weight, making an issue of everything their tongue happens to touch. "Tch tch... that could have added so many more calories to my already fat body!"

They scream in regret after licking a stamp before pasting it on an envelope. People in that condition are psychologically affected and suffer from somatic delusions of being too fat, whereas in reality they are emaciated.
Like the cold wind that blows through cracks in windows making healthy people sick, the Chinese women and also some men today, are allowing the craze of becoming paper thin to dangerously seep into their healthy minds. The recordings of scientific research are that about 10% of anorexic women die because of an organic failure or some other issues resulting out of this malady. Now, that’s scary!

When some of the greatest artists of the world painted the bodies of women or sculpted them, they never forgot the role the women played in the existential plan of the creator.

The woman was gifted with a womb to nurture it with life and not only that; she was gifted with beautiful protrusions to feed that life with.

The picture above shows today’s plus size model, whereas actually she is just a healthy woman with beautiful curves. Today women in China are posting photographs with their waists behind an A4 size paper and mind well we are told that the paper has to be held vertically.

I wonder if some conniving mind in China in order to reduce the population of the country, has infiltrated the minds of the healthy young women to vanish their birth giving capacity and themselves in trash beauty myths.
I wish I could reach out to those paper thin women behind vertical A4 size papers and tell them:
"Ladies, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder
and not behind an A4 size paper."
The shrinking of the wombs would surely disappoint the creator who made Eve because He wanted a woman for Adam and not a pencil.
I dare to say that global standards many a times stand much lower than where common sense stands. In fact, often global standards are created out of fear. The creative force of a woman can be scary for any man and the myth of a global standard of beauty stating that 'Thin is beautiful' is certainly a statement of fear of the power of creation. Why can't these people see that it is only the eyes that are beautiful? Eyes filled with beauty will indeed see the world around as attractive.
As a child, I had heard of stories of small metal shoes made especially for Chinese women, whose feet stopped growing once they began to wear them. At the end of the day, such footwear lead to the suppression of these women; who inevitably got caged in a wobbly balance of bigger bodies and tiny malformed feet.

It was the men who most often decided fashion for women as if the women had no decisive power of their own. Or perhaps they took their creation literally out of Milton's 'Paradise Lost' in which he believed; "He for the God and she for the God in him."

I only wish that my sisters in China would stand akimbo expressing a stern understanding that their waists couldn't be allowed to go waste in thinning and pray that this disease of a craze of the disappearance of good health will not spread in the world.

  8. It's nerve wreaking to see them force their feet into those ting shoes. It is so saddening that the idea of a healthy life is limited to less mass over yourself. While we talk about this I hope people understand the difference between obese and healthy. And choose the right one.
